Christopher Wilkins II
When I first began doing photography I was about 13 years old living in my hometown of Richardson, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. My first camera was a GAF L-CM 35mm camera that was actually gifted to me by a close friend. I shot film with that camera for many years until moving onto digital photography. I knew photography was something i'd want to do for the rest of my life.
Growing up in the area I did has allowed for many opportunities for me, not only as an artist but as a professional. As a deeply rooted member in my community, I have always been able to expand to different types of photography such as band performances, skateboarding, etc.
I am currently self employed as a freelance photographer and entrepreneur. I work closely with several companies in the Dallas and Austin areas and have been published by several other companies.
I would say my main reason for taking photos is my desire to show people the great beauty not only in the world we live in, but also in the moments we share with each other. I am especially fond of wildlife and nature photography. I truly hope you enjoy my art! Thank you.
